The highlight of this particular project is that installation of the propulsion system is done with the minimum allowance tolerances and this accomplishment has been made by the hand of Iranian experts, engineers & technicians for the first time. Knowing that all of the similar tasks have been done by the foreign experts in the past, makes this accomplishment bold & glowing in the Iranian marine industries.

South pars gas field development phase 16
This offshore wellhead platform is designed to produce 56 million cubic meters sour gas per day through south pars gas field reservoirs & wells and also production of 50 million cubic meters sweet gas, 77,000 barrels of gas condensates, 2,900 tons of LPG (1.05 million ton annul), 2750 tons ethane (1 million tons annul) and 400 tons Sulphur to feed the petrochemical units.

Located in 100 Km south of Iranian cost, for developing this gas field, national Iranian oil company signed a contract with a consortium including 8 different companies to produce 2 billion cubic feet per day gas from this field.
